Students arrive early

In the days preceding #2-ranked Georgia's matchup with Sam Pittman's University of Arkansas Razorbacks, Head Coach Kirby Smart issued a challenge to the Bulldog Nation: "Get there EARLY, LOUD, and Angry"

Students are notorious for arriving late for a Noon kick-off.

It was very impressive to see the Student section PACKED at 10:30 in the morning.

The crowd was the loudest I've ever heard, and I have heard some pretty loud crowds.

Everything went right.  Arkansas won the toss and deferred to the second half.  With JT Daniels hurt, the Mailman went right to work, the first play being a quarterback sneak for 9 yards.  The Dawgs put together a 10-play, 75 yard drive that took 4 minutes off the clock to take a 7-0 lead.

On Arkansas' first possession, the crowd was so LOUD, that Arkansas had back-to-back false starts, a crushing sack, and a measly-thrown pass that was broken up to force the Hogs to go 3-and-out.

The next drive was similar: 9 plays, 56 yards, mostly just running it down their throats.

A blocked punt that was recovered for a touchdown and after the 1st Quarter, Georgia lead 21-0.

It was a glorious day.  Kirby Smart agreed.
