The Georgia Bulldogs have won the SEC Championship, in the first championship game to go to overtime.
Things were looking bleak. The Dawgs were down, and on the last play of the 1st half, Quarterback Carson Beck was injured.
We all held our collective breaths.
But in the 2nd Half, Gunner Stockton came out to lead the Bulldogs to a 10 plays, 75 yards drive to take the lead.
Texas tied the game and looked to have Georgia stopped, but, then the Bulldogs pulled off a successful fake punt with wideout Arian Smith catching a tap pass and running 9 yards for the first down on fourth-and-5.
The game went to overtime.
Gunner Stockton ran the ball to the 5, and took a brutal hit that knocked off his helmet, but he managed to HOLD ON TO THE BALL!!
The injured Carson Beck, came in for one play, and handed the ball to Trevor Ettiene for a 4 yard touchdown.
And just like that, we were SEC Champions again
