Florida’s QB Lagway threw for 166 yards on 15-of-24. Despite the yardage, Florida couldn’t translate enough into points late.

What It Means

For Georgia: This was a gritty “survive and advance” win. Keeping the rivalry streak alive strengthens their résumé as they vie for SEC and playoff positioning.

For Florida: Despite flashes, the inability to convert late drives and make a defensive stop cost them. They’ll need to clean up execution if they hope to salvage the season.

The rivalry remains very much alive. Even though Georgia has had the upper hand recently, Florida pushed them hard this time.
