One of These Days

I had a friend.  He taught me about recording. He encouraged me to write my own songs. He lended me an effects panel...I haven't seen a leslie effect since then.  He gave me an illicit copy of CakeWalk.

I worked at it.  I made myself write a song in the 1 or 2 hour gap I had in each day, no matter how bad it might turn out.  

Nobody heard my songs.  But I learned a lot, about lyrics, and audio, and video, and video delivery.  

And for a while, I WAS a Rock star and a Song Writer and Videographer
